What is Tani?

TANI GmbH, based in Nuremberg, Germany, builds PLC connectivity, data logging and lightweight web SCADA tools for plants that need to get data off mixed-brand machines without a large-scale SCADA project.

TANI is independent — not part of or owned by any other company. AcuSYS has supplied TANI locally since 2019.

OPC & IoT Interfaces

OPC Standards: OPC UA (Client/Server), Classic OPC DA (Windows only), and Tani's high-speed OPC Pipe open interface.
MQTT: Versions 3 and 5 for cloud and IoT messaging.

Database Interfaces

Native SQL Drivers: Direct read/write access to Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SAP ASE (Sybase).
ODBC: Universal connectivity for Oracle and other standard relational database engines.

Siemens (S7/S5): Full support for S7-1200/1500 (including optimized blocks and symbolic routing), S7-300/400, LOGO! 8, ET200, and legacy S5 controllers.
Rockwell & GE: CIP and Ethernet/IP for ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Micro8xx, PLC-5, and SLC (with full backplane routing paths), as well as GE PACSystems.
Mitsubishi SLMP (3E Protocol): Direct connection to Melsec Q, QL, and FX5 series hardware.
Modbus TCP: Broad compatibility for devices from ABB, Beckhoff, Schneider Electric, Wago, and Phoenix Contact.
Utility & Machine Standards: IEC 60870-5-104 for energy and water telecontrol, alongside EuroMAP and UMATI via their native OPC UA information models.
Building Automation: BACnet (supporting BBMD, COV, schedules, and alarms) and KNX/EIB (with full symbol import capabilities).
