What is ProcessVue?

During a plant upset, an alarm flood can bury the one alarm an operator actually needs. ProcessVue captures alarm and event data from your SCADA, PLC and DCS systems, measures it against recognised standards, and gives you a governed way to find and fix the alarms causing most of the noise.

It's built on 30+ years of alarm management expertise, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001 certified, and used at sites including EDF Energy (West Burton B) and Premier Oil.

Why ProcessVue?

  • Standards-aligned, not guesswork: benchmark and rationalise your alarms against EEMUA 191, ISA-18.2 and IEC 62682, so your alarm management is auditable, not anecdotal.

  • Find the bad actors: identify the small number of nuisance alarms and floods causing most of your operator workload, instead of reviewing every alarm by hand.

  • One source of truth: a master alarm database tracks every change to your alarm configuration, with a full audit trail for compliance.

  • Human-led, always: ProcessVue surfaces patterns and recommends fixes. Every configuration change is reviewed and made by your own engineers.

  • Proven at scale: one customer reduced alarms from over 1 million a month to under 20,000 using ProcessVue's rationalisation process.

Proven locally

ProcessVue is deployed in Southern Africa through AcuSYS's Certified ProcessVue System Integrator Programme.

Connects to Your Existing Systems

ProcessVue collects alarm and event data directly from the control and safety systems you already run, so there's no need to replace anything to get standards-aligned alarm management:

  • Siemens, including PCS 7

  • AVEVA (including systems still known locally as Wonderware and Citect)

  • Honeywell

  • ABB

  • Emerson (including DeltaV)

  • Yokogawa

  • Schneider Electric

  • Foxboro

  • HIMA safety systems

  • Transmitton

Running a mixed-vendor site? ProcessVue is built to sit across all of them from one alarm database.
